(An example of what I mean: I think there was a bug in Skyrim, though given the state of my memory right now it MIGHT have been in the older version of KoA, where there was a bug that would prevent upgrades to one of the player homes the workaround, to prevent the bug from having a chance to trigger, was 'don't enter the home until after you've also bought all the upgrades.') What I'm wondering, and no I don't care about spoilers (but include them if you want, for other people), is whether or not there are any 'workarounds' for bugs - either old or new - that a player would be smart to keep in mind for a new playthrough. (I've also read that, while there MAY be more bug fixes coming, the developer is holding off until the new DLC is released to make them, and there's currently no estimated time of delivery for that) I've read enough about this version to know that some bugs were fixed, some have persisted across versions, and that many more bugs were introduced.

Bought this version at release, partly to get those expansions (which I think I'd looked into and found were no longer for sale), but it wound up on my 'to be played' pile and I hadn't even installed it until recently.

Background: I played the original version of this game several years back, but the version I owned didn't have either Teeth of Naros or The Legend of Dead Kel included.
